STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
We seek a Texas PE with experience in structural design. This is a key position reporting to top management. Experience preferred in utility construction, fabrication, soil mechanics, material testing, and hydraulics, R&D, StruCAD and CAD a plus.
MAJOR DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take the lead in the design of new shoring and shielding systems, and components to compliment the existing product lines. Monitor and maintain a manufacturing Quality Control Program for all products manufactured. Develop and test shoring and shielding systems to include other products that may be acquired through merger, acquisition, license or franchise. Maintain professional standards, qualifications, and memberships in appropriate societies (i.e. Texas society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Develop proficiency in soil mechanics, hydraulics, material testing and structural design. Generate review and approve manufacturers tabulated data for Speed Shore Products.
