Slide-Rail Systems Speed Shore's Slide-Rail system is a cost-effective alternative to traditional driven tight-sheeting. It offers a versatile, modular shoring solution for the most challenging excavations- particularly poor soil conditions and sites with adjacent structures or utilities. The modular components (rails, panels, and struts) are easier and faster to install than tight-sheeting/piling, requiring significantly less time and expense. Double-walled steel panels slide into tracked rails as earth is excavated, preventing trench wall loss encountered in typical open-cut excavations. Speed Shore's Slide-Rail system provides superior trench protection in tough ground conditions for utility installations, pump stations, tank installation/removal, bore-pits, point repairs, vault placement and the like. The system is available in single, double and triple-rail designs, and can be configured for linear, square or rectangular excavations to depths of 32 feet. Innovative sheeting guides may be incorporated into the Slide-Rail system to provide steel sheeting support around critical crossing utilities.
