Waler Systems Waler Systems are ideal for less stable soil conditions requiring close or intermittent sheeting. Their lightweight construction allows for quick installation and removal from above ground, keeping workers safely out of unshored trenches. Speed Shore Waler Systems are available in standard and heavy-duty configurations, designed with broad contact area to support a variety of sheeting material (steel, timber, plywood, fiberglass). In addition to the standard benefits of Speed Shore hydraulic systems, Waler Systems feature 4-corner lifting eyes for rapid installation and removal, and hydraulic hose bridles to afford simultaneous actuation of cylinders. Combining our exclusive Speed Struts® with Speed Shore Walers provides for 3 or 4-sided end-loading capability. This is especially useful in restricted excavation sites or where crossing utilities require support. Speed Struts® incorporate hydraulic cylinders and return springs within rugged telescoping steel sleeves. Quick-connect pins and hydraulic fittings allow rapid assembly/disassembly, and changeover to larger or smaller Speed Struts®.
